My Experience

My journey in tech began in 2018 as a part-time Windows Server administrator in an engineering firm within the energy sector. In 2019, I transitioned into software engineering with an internship as a React developer. After graduating from IIUM in 2020, I started working as an frontend developer, focusing on single page applications (SPA) and video streaming.

In 2023, I was promoted as a hardware researcher. Not because I'm smart or anything, but it was because the other dude who were supposed to become one had abruptly left the workplace lol.

In 2024, I was reassigned into a common PHP developer. The prospect here is not looking good as everyone keeps quitting, and the industry started to feel the heat of AI.

In 2025, as the company increasingly becoming a vanity project, I followed my colleagues to quit and restarted my career in the engineering and energy industry. Just as I had in the beginning.

My Projects

I maintain a few open-source projects:

  1. rtsp-to-hls - re-streams RTSP video over HLS.
  2. pedeefkan - automatically combile all media files in a directory into one PDF file. (planned)

These project reflects my enthusiasm for experimenting with new technology and contributing to the developer community.

My Hobby

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exploring new tech innovations, and driving. Every day after work, I would read something, like a journal, research paper, or documentation sites. If I have nothing to do, I explore new things Linux, computer networking, and open-source AI models.

This blog is part of my experiment to enhance my writing.

My Goals

I live by this quote: The most important job as a man, is to be a good father. IThe most important job as a man is to be a good father.

My goal in life is to be a good husband and father for my wife and son. My mission is to create something that will have a positive impact on many people's lives.

My Life Phylosophy

I believe that evertyhing that God had created serves a purpose. A purpose gives us a reason to exist, puts a meaning in this life, and strengthen us to overcome this chaotic world we live in.
